Get Rid Of Tan Lines Before Nude Photoshoot
Most Brits can’t believe their luck that the weather has been consistently sunny day in, day out recently.
However, those preparing for a nude photoshoot need to be careful they do not spend too much time in the sunshine, as they don’t want to risk having unsightly tan lines.
While getting tan marks on holiday is often regarded as an achievement - a testament to how much time you devote yourself to sunbathing by the pool - they don’t have the same appeal when back in the UK.
And certainly not in female glamour photography when everything should appear uniform and not patchy.
If you have got some tan lines though, whether just by walking around in the sunshine in the UK or after a week sunning yourself on the beach, there are ways to get rid of them.
SELF recommends gently exfoliating the tanned areas to reveal the fresh skin cells underneath.
Models could also try using body products containing vitamin C as this is known to lighten hyperpigmentation. However, it is worth noting that this may take a few weeks to have an impact, by which time your tan may have faded naturally anyway.
Another solution is to apply self tanner all over the body after exfoliating, so you make your whole body appear more tanned.
Or you could use body make-up on your tan lines so they don’t appear so obvious. Use make-up setting spray to ensure it doesn’t come off during your photoshoot.
