Which Celebs Dare To Brave It All… Or Not!

Putting yourself before the camera of a nude photographer in London may be the way to a lucrative modelling career, but there can be no doubt that it takes a bit of daring to do it.

To say the least, not everyone feels the same way about being naked in front of strangers, especially when the images taken may be seen by all and sundry - perhaps even your friends and family.

Perhaps, then, it can be useful to consider how famous folk approach such a prospect. There are many people in music, TV and film, sport and other fields who get seen, filmed and photographed in public on a regular basis. The question is whether they are happy for this to happen when they are in their birthday suits.

A couple who clearly were willing were Eric André and Emily Ratajkowski, who posed on the former’s Instagram page for Valentine’s Day. Of course, Instagram’s rules mean there are restrictions on exactly what can be seen: no full frontal nudity and definitely no nipples, so like many a model the pose would be a tasteful one with certain bits covered.

Eric took care of this with a heart emoji covering his privates, while Emily, who was wearing a red bra, appeared in a mirror, her sideways-on reflection showing a bit of bare bottom, but no details that would not get past the gram’s censors. Indeed, for Ratajkowski, this was pretty tame compared to the number of times she has bared everything for the cameras.

These two celebs were somewhat in contrast with Lana del Rey. The singer recently launched her newest album, titled ‘Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’. Speaking to Billie Eilish for Interview Magazine, the singer said she was originally going to do a nude cover shoot for the album, until she got cold feet about the idea.

All that goes to show that even those whose visual images get everywhere can be reticent about baring all. If you struggle to be brave at first, you will be in good company.
